Staff Clinician - EFAP - Edmonton, Alberta

Position Summary

We are hiring a Staff Clinician – EFAP in our Edmonton office and are looking for you. You’re a great fit if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are passionate about innovation, foster collaboration, and are committed to service excellence. 


Hours of Work: Permanent full-time, 37.5 hours per week.


What you'll be doing

• Deliver EFAP services including confidential counselling, case management, and direct clinical services. 

• Receive case assignments, establishes treatment plans, and completes case progress notes 

• Develop service plans which outline a specific plan of action with each client under regular consultation 

• Complete a comprehensive psycho-social assessment on clients as needed 

• Participate in in-house training as required 

• Receive crisis calls from the Client Services Centre as required 

• Provide afterhours crisis calls services


What we're looking for

• Masters in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or other related discipline 

• Must hold valid registration with the relevant governing body 

• Minimum 3 years counseling experience 

• Experience in brief solution-oriented counselling 

• Knowledge of assessment, crisis management, and EFAP services an asset 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, French skills would be an asset 

• Strong organizational and time management skills 

• Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
